Rip Van Winkle Soccer Club

About Us
The Rip Van Winkle Soccer Club has served the Cairo area for over 20 years. Since 2004, the club has expanded from two programs to six year-round programs for local youth. After 11 years of fundraising and planning, the club proudly opened its soccer field at 10 Volunteer Drive in Cairo in 2018 with support from local businesses, community leaders, grants, and donations.
The club is fully volunteer-run by dedicated coaches, board members, parents, and community supporters. We are committed to keeping registration costs affordable so every child has the opportunity to play. We are also proud members of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, Capital District Youth Soccer League, and affiliates of the United States Youth Soccer Association and United States Soccer Federation.

Mission & Vision
The Rip Van Winkle Soccer Club is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and positive soccer experience for youth in our community. We strive to create opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels while building confidence, teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong love of the game. Our vision is to inspire personal growth both on and off the field by encouraging players and coaches to reach their full potential. Through community involvement, mentorship, and sportsmanship, we aim to develop leaders who positively impact others in the game and in life.
