Information
Practices
Practices are based on coaches availability. They will start right after the school's February break. Indoor practices are at the local MS/HS gyms and in Catskill at the Community life Church.
Once the weather permits, practice will be outdoors 1-2x/week. Professional trainers will work with each team one day a week for 4-5 weeks. Practice days/times are coached decided and availability of field space.

U16 -U19 is 8 game schedule
U8-U14 is a 8 game schedule
Game days
Boys divisions
Tuesdays or Thursdays and Sunday afternoons
Girl divisions
Wednesdays or Fridays and Sunday afternoons
(Games may move depending on teams' availably)
Games start the last Sunday of April
Other information
Travel players must purchase their own uniforms, which can be ordered online off the travel uniform page.
Each game has a paid referee.
Game schedules are made by CDYSL.
Team are fined money for late cancelations or no shows.
Teams play in all types of weather.
Practice is most important for the player and showing to the game is a must.
U8 is 4 v 4 No GK
U10 is 7 v 7
U12 9 v 9
U14 & up 11 v 11
U8 - U12 registrations are $125.00.
U13- U18 registrations are $160.00.
Player's registration fee is the team they are assigned to.
TRAVEL REFUND POLICY
Travel player has been registered with CDYSL, the amount minus $40.00.
Travel player has been registered and the season has started, NO refund.
How do I register?
New to the Club

You will need a recent picture of player (no hats or sunglasses)

You will need a copy of player Birth Certificate

Follow the link provide to create an account on our online registration page

Create an account with your contact email

Add your player
-
Click on your player's name (the player's account is separate from yours)

Once in your player's account answer information

Make sure you add the photo and upload the BC -they cannot play without these

In the payment section, make sure you answer which kind of payment and hit submit.

Returning Player

You will be UNABLE to register directly in your System.Gotsport account

Follow the link provided to the current program open in your gotsport account

Complete all required information: you do not need your player's Birth Certificate because it has already been loaded and verified. Also, you will be unable to update your player's picture. CDYSL has locked them and will update

Complete a new medical release form for the season and upload into the document section

In payment section make sure you answer payment type and hit submit

Make sure you check your uniform and order any replacement items. Keep the same number the club assigned to you.
How do I upload a Birth Certificate
In your family account, Click on your child's name.
Click on documents.
Click add a new document.
In Document Repository
Click Select One, Click Capital District Youth Soccer League - Birth Certificate for Verification
Click Go
Document Label
Click Birth Certificate
Click choose file and upload.
Click save.
